Knock knock guess who's there

I have the best husband in the world. No doubt about it. For my birthday he surprised me and flew my mom to San Antonio for 9 days!!! Wow the minute I saw her at my front door I started planning out our time together and thought we had plenty. Man was I wrong. Isn't it just so befuddling how time can fly by so fast when you don't want it to, and when you really are looking forward to something it seems like it takes forever to arrive? I hope that she enjoyed her stay with us. I know that for me it was fantastic and I appreciate Sean for giving me that gift this year. It was just what I needed.

Lois warmed right up to Nanny. She was my mom's permanent shadow.

We went down to the Alamo so that my mom could fit in amongst the other tourists.

Sean's purchase at a mexican market.

They are both growing so stinking fast.

Witte Museum. Porter especially liked the H E B tree house area for children.

I love my mom!!!

Just rocking it out.

Swimming at Fort Sam Houston.

A night out on the town with these two crazies.

We had to take her to the Tower of the Americas. It was a great night full of great memories.

Sean and Porter had their real capes this time around.

The morning of my birthday we had sprinkles on our breakfast. Lois and Porter may or may not have eaten the sprinkles by the spoonful.

Man how we have missed this!!!

Our day was spent at Morgan's Wonderland. Porter was in absolute HEAVEN. No doubt about it. He is such a creative little boy and his imagination ran wild at this park.

Oh what??? You don't have a shoe phone??? Only the cool kids do.

This made me smile. He came up to me with his cowboy hat on and his pants pulled up over his belly button. It reminded me of my Grandpa Glazier whom I love dearly.

Then he lowered his pants quite a bit as you can see ... to be used as his utility belt.

She is such a little girl in so many ways. She melts everyone's hearts with one look. She loves to get dressed, put on jewelry and has found my make up. I love that she put her necklaces on as if they were bandoliers.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. I love my mom!!!

Day out shopping and watching Winnie the Pooh, which they both sat through quietly. It was a cute movie.

Our last morning together before taking Nanny to the airport. We hesitated packing up her belongings for as long as we could. Instead we ate cheesecake for breakfast, played dress up and lounged around.

I chose Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner. It was, as usual most delicious!!! Once Lois decided that she was done eating she tried to feed us the rest of her food. Mmmmm no complaints here.
